First Year Anniversary
Welcome to our updated website, released after our first anniversary in business as Stengel Hoppe LLP. In the past year, our firm has focused on representing clients in relation to the oil and gas and energy industries in Colorado, Wyoming and most recently Utah. Despite low oil prices in the recent past, we have been able to provide our clients with affordable, market appropriate legal services in the area of oil and gas title examination, along with numerous other matters.
In this challenging environment for the oil and gas industry, we remain hopeful of an oil price recovery into the end of 2016 and particularly over the next couple of years as the market fundamentals start to reflect decreased production in the U.S. The DJ Basin and Niobrara play in northeast Colorado appears to present a good opportunity for E&P companies, even at lower oil prices.
Moving into 2016 and beyond, we continue to expand our practice to include general real estate matters, estate planning and probate representation, and business advisement. We are actively growing our clientele in the areas of will and trust preparation, as well as in the areas of commercial real estate development.
Our firm remains dedicated to the oil and gas community in the Denver area, as well as numerous charity and volunteer causes. In the past year, we sponsored several Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen events, including the Girls on the Run Rockies 5K race, DAPL Trapshoot, Fall Land Institute, and the spring happy hour. In addition, we supported the Oilfield Helping Hands Annual Sporting Clays Tournament. Our firm also participated in several volunteer projects around the Denver metro area, including flood restoration projects and a Family Homestead painting project.
